SCTE

Challenge:
The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) hosted a website that couldn't meet the growing demands of its membership base. The SCTE required E-commerce capabilities that allowed it to conduct online technical training/certification and maintain technical standards for a GLOBAL membership base.

The Canton Group Solution:

  • Designed a Comprehensive eBusiness System
  • Created a "virtual community" for its members
  • Developed a highly intuitive graphic user interface for ease of use which was especially helpful for international members
  • Designed functionality to sell memberships, refine business process automation, and provide information funnel
  • Integrated multiple relational and legacy database systems
  • Used development tools such as ColdFusion, Micosoft SQL Server

Results:

  • Completed the project 21 days ahead of schedule
  • The SCTE has been a client of The Canton Group for more than six years
